The Dakota Home Plan # W-789-D by Donald A. Gardner Architects Inc. is another really great addition of inspiration for my Country Farmhouse collection. It has a number of desirable exterior and interior elements that really give it an attractive arts and crafts style home feeling.
I really think that the stone, siding and cedar shakes boost the home's facade. while the interior gives a great feeling of spaciousness due to the open floor plan. Even the kitchen is spacious and efficiently designed. When looking for privacy, the split bedroom design is perfect. The master suite, though positioned for privacy, still features a bay window, tray ceiling, dual walk-in closets, and a deluxe private bath. So very luxury! There are two additional family bedrooms on the first floor, and a fourth on the lower level with a decently sized recreation room.
My favorite aspects about this home plan would be the cathedral ceiling, central fireplace and flanking built-in cabinets. In addition, the room over the garage is a nice bonus that allows for additional storage or even living space.
The total square footage is 2916, with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and it is 2 stories tall.
For a full visualization of the house plan, I recommend visiting the Don Gardner website, which is listed as the source for this house plan. I'll be keeping this in mind when finally putting together my farmhouse plan.

I like really the design. I will definitely adapt some aspects from this plan for my own inspiration!
