The brilliant sequel to the hit novel, The Handmaid's Tale!

I both read the novel The Handmaid's Tale and watched the Hulu series for it, so when I saw the sequel, The Testaments by Margaret Atwood, coming out this month, I was so excited! I cannot wait to read this novel. The first book was left off at such an uncertain spot where the reader had no way of telling what was waiting ahead for the main character.

As stated on the Barnes and Noble website, the summary for The Testaments is:

"When the van door slammed on Offred's future at the end of The Handmaid's Tale, readers had no way of telling what lay ahead for her—freedom, prison or death.

With The Testaments, the wait is over.

Margaret Atwood's sequel picks up the story fifteen years after Offred stepped into the unknown, with the explosive testaments of three female narrators from Gilead."
