Lynsey Dyer was born March 13, 1983 and grew up in Sun Valley, Idaho. She is an American freestyle skier and big mountain skier.
Off the slopes Dyer co-founded the non-profit SheJumps.org and founded the movie production and apparel company Unicorn Picnic. The focus of Unicore Picnic is to encourage girls and women to participate in the outdoors through mentorship.
Lynsey was the first female to be on the cover of Freeskier Magazine. She also was the first women to open a Warren Miller film and created the first all-female ski film. Having won several freesking competitions she was awarded Skier of the Year by Powder Magazine.
On Dyer's Facebook page she writes, "The best place in the world is where the snow and my friends are".
