Amusement comes to the beach on Santa Monica Bay

The 100-year-old landmark at the foot of Colorado Avenue sits proudly over the surfers and sunbathers of Santa Monica Beach.

Located along the pier, Pacific Park is home to California's only over-the-water Ferris wheel, the Pacific Wheel. The Pacific Wheel is completely solar-powered.

A beacon for miles down the coast, the bright lights on the wheel glow nightly over Santa Monica Bay.

During the summer months the pier is venue to weekly outdoor concerts that are free to the public. This is in addition to the year-round shops, entertainment, arcade, pub, and restaurants.
