The OMEGA Speedmaster watch has been worn by astronauts on every single one of NASA’s manned missions since March of 1965; including the first manned lunar landing in July of 1969.
The Speedmaster timepiece was designed to stand apart from other chronographs. The Professional "Moonwatch" has a black dial, luminous hands, tachometer scale, water-resistant case, screw-in back, domed crystal and an additional inner cover to protect the movement.
Other than a few refinements by OMEGA to make the Speedmaster Professional even more precise and sturdy, the chronograph remains essentially unchanged since 1957. A watch that is truly a historical timepiece.
