It's very rare you can eat a properly cooked Salmon at a restaurant , Barrie's The North restaurant is one of the places where they do it right, never flaky .
A phenomenal chef and friend of mine Stephen Treadwell taught us the secret years ago when we were living in Vancouver . Cook it on high heat , 550f for 6 minutes in a preheated dish. But before that marinate it in low sodium soya sauce 5 minutes each side , then drain and lightly drizzle olive oil on both side and spread it around, then sprinkle toasted sesame seed on top , we also placed lime leaves on top then into the oven, but leaves are hard to find. It will be very pink inside and look uncooked , but wait till u taste it . It's almost heaven
Of course the bbq is another option .
